Example: start Monday, September 7, 2026, target 10 mg, four weeks per step. Steps are 2.5, 5 and 7.5 mg (12 weeks), so the first 10 mg injection falls 84 days later on Monday, November 30, 2026. Dates are computed in UTC from calendar days, so a daylight-saving change never moves an injection day.

Assumptions, checked September 4, 2026

Zepbound label section 2.1: start at 2.5 mg once weekly for 4 weeks, then 5 mg; increase in 2.5 mg increments after at least 4 weeks on the current dose. 2.5 mg is for initiation and is not a maintenance dose.
Zepbound label section 2.2: maintenance doses are 5, 10 or 15 mg for weight reduction and 10 or 15 mg for obstructive sleep apnea; maximum 15 mg weekly. Mounjaro uses the same 2.5 mg start and 2.5 mg increments with a 15 mg maximum in adults.
The planner never shortens a step below 4 weeks and never pre-selects a dose. Holding a step longer, stepping back down, or staying at 7.5 or 12.5 mg is a prescriber decision the planner only records.
Compounded tirzepatide is not FDA approved and is not interchangeable with Zepbound or Mounjaro. If you use it, the schedule your prescriber wrote governs, not the brand label.
